British Monty Unveiled A 100% Recyclable Polyethylene Plastic Bag.

After four years, Mondi plans to introduce a brand new 100% recyclable patent plastic bag with removable decorative panels by 2019.

Mondi is an international packaging group that employs about 26,000 people in manufacturing facilities in 31 countries around the world. The annual revenue of Mondi group is 6 billion 500 million euros, and has a capital return of 15.3%. The group's important base is in Central Europe, Russia, the Americas, and South Africa.

The packaging will be used to pack Flossie products instead of traditional flexible plastic bags, replacing some of the defective recycling processes. Regarding the design of a perfect recyclable bag, Werner and Mertz Group Packaging Development Director explained, "If you want to avoid trash in and out, the entire value chain must be consistent - from the packaging manufacturer to the participants in sorting and recycling, purchasing and using recycled materials.

According to Mondi, the bag was dressed in an eye-catching outfit with brand designs on the front and consumer information on the back. When the bag is empty, it is automatically divided into two parts by crushing and sorting into an independent recycling process.

Plastic bag material does not contain glue or adhesive. The nozzle and lid are also made of polyethylene, indicating that the quality of the recovered material is comparable to that of the raw material.

"Working with us will be the best way to show how to reach a solution," said the technical services manager at Mondi Consumer Packaging.
